When should we appoint a BREEAM assessor?
As early as possible. Appointment during the early design stages gives your team more opportunity to protect credits, influence specifications and avoid costly changes.
What happens in the free risk review?
We discuss your project stage, target rating, key constraints and current approach. We then highlight likely risks, useful opportunities and practical next steps.
How do you maintain assessment quality?
Before evidence is submitted to BRE, we arrange an independent peer review by a senior colleague who has not worked on the project, or by an external BREEAM AP.
Can you help if the project has already started?
Yes. We can review the current position and identify what remains achievable, although some early-stage credits may no longer be available.
Can we still achieve BREEAM Excellent?
That depends on the scheme, stage, design and evidence already available. The risk review is designed to give you a clearer and more realistic answer.
What information should we bring?
Basic project details, current design stage, planning requirements and any existing BREEAM documentation are useful, but you can still book an initial conversation without a complete evidence pack.
